Forma Fitness is a small fitness club chain with two locations in the southwestern part of Poland. Their offer includes a gym, personal training, a sauna, and a tanning salon.

Goals and needs

The summer season brings lower interest in this form of leisure. Maintaining continuous growth in active users required additional promotion. Using Reccome to launch a referral system helped acquire new customers brought in by current pass holders.

The club prepared a promotion in which active gym users receive a discount on extending their membership for every new customer they bring. To promote the campaign, information with a QR code enabling quick registration in the Reccome app was placed at the reception.

To increase effectiveness, information about referrals with a registration link was added to the club’s website and social media.

After creating an account, club clients generate unique referral codes (their own string) and QR codes, and select the reward they will receive for a referral.

Users share their codes with friends and on social media, where such codes reach a wide audience.

Anyone who shows or provides the code when purchasing a pass receives a discount.

The user whose code was used during the purchase receives a notification about the awarded prize, which can be collected during the next visit.
